However, the origin actually dates back to ancient Sanskrit, used to describe a virtual manifestation in the ethereal plane. AVATAR CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY was founded by J.R. McMillan to serve the complex needs of the creative industry, but has since expanded to support a wide range of clients. His experience is specific and extensive, revealing a rare convergence of depth and breadth which he credits to his parallel career as a writer and natural inclination for problem solving.

McMillan led training and support efforts for the first DSL deployment in the country. He also pioneered the largest free wireless internet service in the US designed for the restaurant and hotel industry — more than five years before the introduction of the iPhone.

From telecommunications and financial services to healthcare and education, McMillan sees opportunities to integrate and leverage new and emerging technologies ahead of the curve.
